FAQs

Do I need classroom experience?
No – we’ll help you get it. Many of our applicants have lots of transferable skills into teaching.  

I haven’t studied in years. Will I cope?
Yes! Everyone has a different starting point, but with our ongoing support you'll get there. 

Can I apply as a career changer?
Absolutely. Many of our trainees have come to the programme after working in other job roles, often with no teaching experience at all.

How long is the programme?
One academic year – and you’ll be in the classroom from the very start.

Is funding or financial support available?
Yes – including bursaries and tuition fee support, depending on your subject.
