training and trainees at the core of our care.
At Exceed SCITT we are dedicated to helping our SCITT Teachers to feel emotionally healthy and well. We have a supportive and caring culture, and we treat everyone with respect and kindness. We recognise that each SCITT Teacher is unique and that their contributions are valuable. We know that everyone experiences life challenges that can make us feel vulnerable and that everyone may need extra emotional support at times. We believe that good mental health is everyone's responsibility, and that we all have a role to play in supporting it.
As part of SCITT’s ongoing support offer, we are fortunate to have two Adult Mental Health First Aiders, alongside a wide range of additional support, including the Employee Assistance Programme, your CBM (Class‑Based Mentor), Lead Mentor, ITT Leads, and the SCITT Leadership Team.
At Exceed SCITT, we believe exceptional teachers deserve exceptional support, especially when it comes to mental health. That's why we're incredibly proud to announce our achievement of the Gold standard in the prestigious ITE Partnership Mental Health Award, presented by the Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health in Schools.
