Policies and Statutory Documents

Below you will find a variety of policies and statutory information about Exceed SCITT and Exceed Academies Trust. Each document can be downloaded and viewed using the links below.

Safeguarding

Exceed SCITT believes safeguarding children is the number one priority. We are committed to promoting the safeguarding and welfare of all of our stakeholders and we expect all staff, trainee teachers and volunteers to share this commitment.

Robust and rigorous recruitment and selection processes are in place to safeguard the children in our schools. Our policies and procedures enable us to better deter, detect and reject people who might abuse children, or who are otherwise unsuitable to work with them.

Successful applicants for ITT will need to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS), Fitness/Health Questionnaire, provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK and evidence of qualifications. In some circumstances, online checks are also completed.

All applicants that have spent more than 3 months (working or living) outside the UK in the last five years, will be expected to provide a police check from those countries as evidence of good conduct.
