As well as working towards your Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) you will be able to access a Level 7 Primary/ Secondary PGCE awarded by Leeds Trinity University. 

The 1-year course requires you to complete 2 modules; Supporting Indvidual Needs & Assessment and Planning for Pupil Progress.  These will be assessed by completing two written assignments.  

In these modules, you will be asked to reflect on your own teaching practice, to analyse and synthesize research, and to apply what you learn to your work in the classroom. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other teachers and to learn from their experiences. 

These modules are designed to help you become a more reflective, knowledgeable, and flexible teacher. They will prepare you to meet the challenges of the profession and to make a positive impact on the lives of your students.
